5.03 How to cancel and pause recurring monthly packages on behalf of the client

In this article you will learn the steps to cancel or pause a package on behalf of the client in the exercise.com trainer platform.

Steps to Cancel a Recurring Package:

  1. Access the Client Account:

    • Navigate to the client’s profile.

  2. Open Payment Details:

    • Click on the Payment Details tab.

  3. Manage Subscriptions:

    • In the Subscriptions section, you’ll find:

      • A Cancel icon to end the subscription.

      • A Pause icon to temporarily halt the subscription.

  4. Choose the Appropriate Cancellation Option

    • Cancel Immediately:

      • Ends the package and any scheduled billing right away.

      • The client will not be charged further.

    • Cancel on Date:

      • Select a specific date to end the package.

      • No charges will occur after this date.

    • Cancel at Period End:

      • Ends billing at the end of the current subscription period.

      • The client can continue using the package until the subscription expires.

  1. Cancel Immediately:

  • Ends the package and any scheduled billing right away.

  • The client will not be charged further.

2. Cancel on Date:

  • Select a specific date to end the package.

  • No charges will occur after this date.

3. Cancel at Period End:

  • Ends billing at the end of the current subscription period.

The client can continue using the package until the subscription expires.

Steps to Pause a Package or Session:

  1. Access the Client Account:

    • Navigate to the client’s profile.

  2. Open Payment Details:

    • Click on the Payment Details tab.

  3. Manage Subscriptions:

    • In the Subscriptions section, you’ll find:

      • A Cancel icon to end the subscription.

      • A Pause icon to temporarily halt the subscription.

  4. Choose the Appropriate Pausing Option

    • Pause Immediately:

      • Pauses the package and any scheduled billing right away.

      • The client will not be charged until unpaused, or the resume date is specified. You have the option to pause indefinitely if the resume date is unknown

    • Pause on Specific Date:

      • Select a specific date to being the pause of the package.

      • No charges will occur after the package has been paused until the resume date is specified

    • Resume Subscription Date:

      • Ends pause at a specified date. Can be left as indefinite if the resume date is unknown

  5. Freeze/Unfreeze Account

    • If you select the check box to automatically freeze a pause account, the client will not be able to sign in or access their account or any of their programs until the subscription is unpaused.
